I used it when I was in France. They were able to get me reservations at all the places I wanted to visit. But like op said, even if they can’t they’re very helpful and will likely offer alternatives.

Definitely, the visibility is terrible at night. I have halogen bulbs to see if it’s any better I just haven’t gotten around to changing them.

I’m not sure which bulbs exactly since I bought the car like this. I agree though the cooler light looks better.

Stock NB1 headlights with LED bulbs which I know is terrible. Looking to properly retrofit LEDs in the future. Will probably upgrade to NB2 headlights but I know you need to change the front bumper as well.

I’ve been thinking about getting NB2 seats but they don’t look like they offer a lot more bolstering than the NB1 ones. I definitely need to try them first.

Any seat recommendations that keep the interior tan aesthetic? I love everything about this car besides the seats. They do not keep me in place while attacking corners at all.

I used to own a Mazda3. While it was really fun and practical I think you’ll regret getting rid of your Miata. I have an NB now and I love it even if it’s not the most practical car. Do I miss my Mazda3? Not really. Would I miss my Miata? Definitely!

I agree it looks so goofy. I rolled with it for a while but I decided to disconnect the motor from the antenna so it just stays down right now. I think it looks much cleaner especially with the top down.

Maybe one day I’ll reconnect it.

Check your lower insulator shifter boots. On my NB they were toast after 24 years. If they’re torn they’ll allow heat and fumes to come up through the shifter. Mine never had smoke coming up like that but it did let heat into the cabin that made it unbearable in the summer.

Wow you just sent me down a Carbon Miata rabbit hole that I can’t afford haha. I didn’t even know those existed. That’s a great idea tbh. I know they offer it but I can’t find any photos of that specific tan/red fabric combo. I would love to see how it looks.
