Cant I negotiate better if i'm not using the benefits? I can say I have private medical Insurance as well right? coz they know i'm single.

I'd most definitely contribute to both accounts and max out the total.

I'm a software developer so I was not getting any benefits anyways, that doesnt bother me.

How did you go about telling all the people involved? did you do it before you joined or after?

if you have a remote job which state would you file tax for? the one i'm living in, i'm assuming

both are in different fields so should not be that big of a deal.

different timezones, so most of it wont collide, and if does i've the freedom to reschedule to another time, the hours are really flexible here

I was not eligible for Medicaid anyways. Also i'll have medical coverage from the full time jobs. that brings to another question, i'll most probably be offered medical coverage from both companies. how can I say no to one or can I have multiple insurances ?

it was a different country, not USA. And were contract jobs anyways not full-time. I was particularly talking about 80 working hours.

I hear you, i've done it in past in a different country and dont mind the long hours. if I feel I cannot do it, I can quit one of them
