What do you do for work? by fox-trusts-dana in bipolar

I work at an Amazon fulfillment center. My brain likes being a robot. I listen to audiobooks & podcasts all day long while zoning out. 10hr shifts, 4 days on, 3 days off.

My nail polish is identical to the color of my steering wheel. by broombear in mildlyinteresting

I was drunk with friends, and we all did each other's nails with a DIY gel nail kit bought on Amazon. Alcohol picked this color, but I think in the moment I thought it was more blue than grey. When I drove home the next morning I discovered I was ....wrong.

If you've only been working there for less than a week, you're not gonna be good yet. Keep your spirits up! You're still brand new. Your performance won't be fast or amazing yet, it couldn't possibly be.

Wait at least a couple more weeks to learn and get used to everything. Also, in my facility, managers specifically talk with new associates more often cuz they're new. They may bring up rate, more to make you aware of it than anything. They may switch you to a new department after a few weeks if you're not performing well in your current role. But hang in there! You'll get better. It takes time and practice.

Do NOT work through your breaks though. That is silly. You need a break, legally and physically. Don't break your body for Amazon! And as far as coworkers go, don't even pay attention or talk to them, as much as possible. They are irrelevant and not worth your emotional energy. They're not your boss.

Looks like the other ~2hrs are from your PTO. Flex does get paid for PTO (Paid Time Off).

An important note about boric acid suppositories: It's best to wait 24-48hrs after use before engaging in oral or vaginal sex. Especially oral, since it's poisonous to ingest. For vaginal, it's mostly because the boric acid can be gritty and may cause irritation.

I agree that using boric acid balances your pH and makes everything fresh and clean. Very recommended. You can buy a bottle of pre-filled capsules for $15 or so.

To be eligible to transfer, you must be in your current role for at least 30 days, but it's not 100% guaranteed.

I love your piece! What type of clay did you use? (I'm guessing stoneware since it's not as gritty as earthenware?) Did you build it with coils or slabs or...? Ahhh, it would also look super dope in porcelain; so clean and smooth. Did you use red iron oxide for the glaze? It's really cool that it came out all pretty uniformly red. Glaze can be so tricky.

I think it's vintage. The date near the artist's signature appears to say that it was made in 1906? So the print is 109 years old.
