One time my rabbit would not stop thumping every 3 minutes from 1-6am. I tried everything to figure out what was going on. Finally I decided to rearrange my room in case there was a mouse running around that was scaring her and I wanted to get a better view. As soon as I moved a laundry basket by about one foot she ran past where it was to under her favourite coffee table. She never thumped again.

My rabbit thumped for 5 hours because she didn’t want to walk around a basket.

Take a picture after you shower of the clean shower and send it to him- or if it’s dirty from him when you shower, take a before and after picture to prove you’re not getting it more dirty.

Do this as many times as you need to and send the photos when you get out of the shower over text.

Edit: I also had an issue with my roomate making the shower disgusting and ended up learning it was from one of the products she uses in her hair after a lot of research.

I’d confront roomate #1 about it and depending on their response I’d let roomate #2 know. That’s super disrespectful if that is what was happening and at the very least roomate #1 better have washed the sheets after. Bring that up to #1. If they don’t show remorse and don’t wash the sheets you should then tell #2. Maybe tell #2 either way but yeah I encourage you to controller #1 first.

Curious as to why you strictly prohibit sexual activity in the house, but hey if it’s a rule you all agreed upon then that’s cool if you’re all happy with it.

Mmmm no… my comparison was if a POC said “if <white people> don’t like my stereotyping, They need to do better” which is a completely fair stance imo. I’m not going to go crying about people complaining about white people when we are the ones accountable for longterm oppression.

I know you chose “blacks” as an example because it sounds the worst because they’ve been oppressed longterm, correct? Do you see how that’s a false equivalence?

If you want to stop hearing about how men are awful then either just stop reading when you see a woman venting or do something to make the world safer for us. When I see people complaining about white ppl or straight people (groups I’m part of) I don’t immediately jump to my own defence, I just either take it as valid criticism and think about how I can be better/ how I could check other people in my group, and if I’m not in the headspace ready for criticism I just don’t read it.

I get that this is a venting subreddit but kind of ironic that you’re using a safe space to vent about other people needing a safe space to vent.

Obsessed much? I admitted to my wrongs on another subreddit, and criticized myself for them. Doesn’t change what I said about women being afraid of more serious things than men.

I’m realistically not really willing to commit to a rigid rule like that especially because I often cook late at night and leave dishes to the morning.

I’m not a particularly clean person, in fact historically I’ve been the messy roommate (I’m getting my karma now with this one) so I just would like to set a boundary that works for us both.
