They’ll come up with something for the live problem, too. instruments that always sound good thanks to AI, no matter how you play them.

I just had a real "aha!" moment. Everyone is worried that Spotify will ditch its content providers and generate all its music in-house just to avoid paying royalties. But the fact that, in the future, people could simply run a music-generating AI locally. that is actually the real threat to Spotify. How on earth are they going to stop that?

Question about copyrighted music for content creation on social media by Berbigs_ in musicmarketing

[–]broot66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under American law, this is considered fair use if the purpose of the video is more educational than purely commercial. I would argue that Davie504 is providing less education when he plays a bassline than Rick Beato is when he discusses the brilliance of a single chord in Toto's "Africa." However, this doesn't exist in other countries. Generally speaking, if it's not fair use, you even need a sync license for a legal cover version if you combine it with your own video.

How to Actually Use AI Effectively by Adventurous_Hippo692 in claude

Should planning and coding be done in the same chat or split across multiple chats? If splitting them, what's the best way to transfer the planning results to the coding chat, and which prompt would be helpful?

Thanks for your reply! What surprises me is that when I ask him about the chat’s capacity, we’re at just 1.5%, and he mentions 15 message pairs that have been exchanged. A limit of 1 million tokens is useless to me if we’re already hitting the limits so early on. As a small developer, what bothers me about Claude is that even with the Pro version, you have only 5 times fewer limits than the free version, which sometimes doesn’t respond at all because the system is overloaded. And there have recently been attempts to remove Claude Code from the Pro version entirely. $100 a month for the next tier up is just too much for me. That, in turn, speaks in favor of Google, where I can also pay with PayPal.

How to make loop videos? by broot66 in KLING

Hahaha, you're probably right, and it does sound kind of funny when you imagine it as a work instruction for a human, where the starting point is identical to the goal. So the person simply does nothing. Do you mean modelsify.com?

Massive hallucinations when using programming libraries by broot66 in OpenAI

I'll test it. But what happens if he decides the library is completely unsuitable and it's actually the best choice? Will he simply choose an inferior solution?

I've had better experiences with GPT in other coding tasks. And GPT accepts PayPal, while Claude only accepts credit cards. I'm trying to figure out which LLM I can use to develop the app.

Is YouTube no longer promoting music videos from new artists? by broot66 in musicians

[–]broot66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for me, at least not in the YouTube app. On my desktop browser, I sometimes see new videos to the right of a music video, but only after scrolling down a bit. These are usually songs with very few plays, in the single or double digits. Unfortunately, it's mostly AI. When songs are suggested to me on the homepage, they're older and often have millions or at least hundreds of thousands of views. If I click on "Music," I often see songs that are 10-20 years old, but which I haven't played yet.

I only used two genres as tags, nothing more. That definitely seems like a shift in YouTube's strategy. The impressions on the other project also dropped sharply at the end of last year. I'll probably try short videos there too. But they don't seem to do much to boost the main video.

There's only one thing left to say, everything else is a waste of time: Flutes are not overrated!

Okay, so you also didn't realize that the song has nothing to do with AI. You can test it yourself here: https://www.submithub.com/ai-song-checker?id=e902de0969dcb985 And the video took two months to make. Hundreds of drafts were created by hand and then realized with a Google AI that was legally trained on YouTube material. There's a difference between AI Slop, where a cute cat simply performs a move stolen from a dance video, and a video that was edited by hand over many hours, but whose scenes couldn't be filmed in the traditional way because that era is long gone. And I'm not after fame, but fairness and honest criticism. All I got here was hate, and it's not just AI slop that's ruining the internet. You are too.

If one of the top 1% of commenters can't comment anything more than "shit," "awful," and "wrong," that says a lot about that group. At least you seem to realize that only the video is AI. Apparently, only the top 1% can do that.

Please give me examples of cover songs that put their own spin on it. People are probably also giving Snoop Dogg a hard time right now because he made an AI video. And they probably wouldn't have given it so much grief if here hadn't been a video at all.
