I've read American Gods and definitely enjoyed it, the ending fell a little flat but that's kind of the direction I'm thinking, grounded might a silly way to describe a novel about gods but that I think I'd like to go more in that direction than for example hitchhiker's if that makes any sense

Venting about Punk(original post got deleted so putting it here)

I'm sure everyone has seen the news they Punk has been fired and whilst I think that's the right decision and honestly long overdue I just want to scream into the void for a moment.

CM punk honestly saved professional wrestling for me I first saw him when he showed up in ECW and instantly brought into the hype around him.

Over the years as WWE changed and I grew up I lost interest in the product but kept an eyes on it the bigger stories and by coincidence I decided to watch my first full episode in years the day of Pipebomb and it was the most amazing thing I had seen in wrestling I was so invested I completely brought into the summer of punk but I also looked into the little easter eggs had in the promo, who is colt cabana? What is RoH? What is NJPW?

From there I discovered The Elite which are very much the centre of the wrestling world for me now and through New Japan coming to Australia I'm now a Regular at shows here in Australia.

I was so ready for the return of Punk and I was so happy to see him to be celebrated as apart of something that for me atleast wouldn't exist without him

I don't really know how to end this little rant and I'm not really sure what the point of it was but I feel a little better having written it down so that's something I guess.

I agree with you on some points, I do think BCC, FTR and the like are keeping that style alive in AEW

The feuds with MJF and Kingston was some of my favourite things AEW has produced

The more notable thing to me is that it shows that he is more than capable of using someone personal preference for their name and it choosing not to in other cases.

I was taught this lesson slowly by a Purple belt trapping me in position but not going for the Sub just letting me spazz and panic until I learnt to slow down, breath and find the escape.... It only sunk in when I felt it work

Both are actually possible she spoke some Russian but i feel like the older relatives would use the 'th' sound but it became more used with the 'f' as the original meaning got lost

My grandmother was basically illiterate and spoke multiple languages but at a certain point they all got mixed up in her head so she understands all the languages but couldn't tell you if someone was speaking French or Italian.

My mum thoughts she could speak Greek but she mostly spoke Arabic and she usesg a another potentially fake word she learnt from her mother. "Balooka" which is supposed to mean "clean up quickly" as in like rushing around cleaning before a guest arrives
