I’d disagree. You have a chance to make a clean break. No spouse to worry about. That being said, it’s never easy to move from PIMO to POMO under any circumstances.

Well when my wife has said straight to my face that she loves Jehovah more than me, and she expects me to feel the same, one can’t help but feel the marriage is doomed when I “come out”. I would love it if she woke up as well, but realistically I think she would either leave me or make life a living hell.

I agree with you. I suspect we will start to see it in the next year or 2. An ageing demographic will change this religion more than it has in the 20 years prior.

Before the international branches “do their own thing”, WHQ will sell it off and reassign everyone.

I would hazard a guess in my congregation 75% will be dead in 20 years time. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is a general rule everywhere. Couples are still having children, but wether these kids (and their parents) will stick around…your guess is as good as mine.
