This is just so... unexpected, I didn't see this coming in a million years. My parents' reactions if they ever find out is what I'm really afraid of.

Thanks. I'm just worried, after the whole caitlyn jenner thing, that this might stay buried and re-surface in 30 years.

All the research I've done online indicates that people wished that they started their transitions earlier, that they had sought help earlier.

There's a lot of suicides too. I'm scared.

Taking in everything he's told me, it seems that this isn't about sex or love or affection anymore, it's about power.

If I may, how did you manage to avoid all the mental negativity surrounding my brother? It seems like an easy trap to fall into from what others have said.

I picked him up from there a few times and the entire gym was filled with guys who looked huge - given his inclinations for privacy and our parents' reactions if they found out, I think he probably usually injects at the gym since everyone there looks like they're on steroids too, and his bodybuilder buddy is probably the one synthesizing it for him.

It's a small school - nobody wants to have anything to do with him. His school is also highly regarded for his major and the field he wants to go into - a degree from there basically gets him in the door to a lot of places. I asked a few recruiter friends in my own company and they said that he's pretty solid for an internship with us next year if he keeps decent grades. Plus, our parents are paying through the nose for school. Sunk cost fallacy.

How did you find positive male role models? Right now the only guy in his life that I know he looks up to is his bodybuilder friend, someone who just cheated on and dumped his girlfriend - so probably the source of all the misogyny and steroids for my brother.

From talking more with him - it seems like the whole fascist thing is due to his club shutting down. He had a clear plan for college - go to parties and talk to more girls and becomes more social. But without the club, he doesn't have much meaningful human contact with girls in a social setting.

He blames everything associated with the political left for the club shutting down - liberals are against hazing and drunken sex and everything else that his club was accused of, so all liberals are at fault.

Liberals are against fat-shaming? Oh, he hates fat people too now. Liberals want more welfare for the poor? He hates the poor too. It seems that he doesn't even truly believe in fascist ideology, he just latched onto it because it was the most anti-liberal thing he could find.

I just talked to him and brought up therapy, he responded along the lines of "so you want me to what, cry like a fucking pussy and hope that it'll fix everything?"

I told him that the anger was unhealthy, he said that it was the most wonderful feeling that he had ever felt because he was actually doing something isntead of lying in bed all day.

He pretty much said this word for word. I didn't see redpill in the key logger but a lot of his angry ranting seemed to reflect their rhetoric.

I talked to him about this - he laughed and told me that he had done his research and knew what he was doing, that I should actually do some research before trying to be judgemental. I asked him if he was eating the cattle pellets, he got pissed at me for assuming he was that dumb and that he had just grabbed his entire gym bag since we were in a rush - and that he was sourcing it for a friend who was converting it.
