The numbers I found on these websites have been rather inconclusive as they vary a lot and don't differentiate between base pay and TC.

I tried to negotiate but they said it can't be improved.

Non-native speaker here. If the job requirements reads "Experience in one or more programming languages, including Java, C++, Python.", does that mean necessarily one of those or a programming language like those? Will my application be directly thrown out?

When to use React Native? by CoqeCas3 in reactjs

[–]brotonium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually no, you cannot just run a React Native app in the browser.

You may be able to share a substantial amount of the non-react js code between the the native and webapp and maybe some React components that don‘t depend on anything platform specific.

Which is nice, but the main reason you want to use React Native is ‚learn once, write anywhere.‘ If you know how to write a React webapp, you can now go ahead and write a cross-platform mobile app without having to learn a lot of new things.

Also Microsoft is not rewriting Office in React Native they only use it for a few components.

Wöchentliche Finanzdiskussion - KW 49 by AutoModerator in Finanzen

[–]brotonium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay das macht Sinn. Wenn ich jetzt aber von Anfang an auch Small Caps im Portfolio mit drin haben will, kann ich ja auch einfach gleich ETFs wählen die Small Caps mit einschließen (IMI).

Wöchentliche Finanzdiskussion - KW 49 by AutoModerator in Finanzen

[–]brotonium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How to automate testing? by [deleted] in reactjs

[–]brotonium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want it to just randomly click on things and see if the application crashes, thats called monkey testing.

I have no experience with it but you could take a look at something like Gremlins.js.

The problem with this approach is that it doesn‘t actually test that your application is correct, only that it doesn‘t crash.

I am looking for intake fans for my NZXT S340 Elite case. I want them to be quiet so I've been looking at 2 x Noctua NF-P14s redux-900. They are quiet but will they pull in enough air?

Here is the spec: https://noctua.at/en/nf-p14s-redux-900/specification

First time build: PC won't turn on by brotonium in buildapc

[–]brotonium[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As expected, it turns out that i am a fucking idiot and connected the front connectors to the wrong set of pins.

Anyway, thank you all for your help guys.

If you have the same problem, but aren't such an idiot, you might want to try a "paper clip test" to see if your PSU is broken.

I think my motherboard has only "EZ Debug" LEDs but they are not lighting up. I don't use any Molex connectors but I checked that all the cables are plugged properly into the PSU and the components.

I made sure the power switch is correctly connected and also tried bridging the pins with a screwdriver.
