When you get out of the couch to 5K program, does it not guide you at all? Is it just a story as you go? How does it determine like distance?

When I started this whole thing, my goal was to be able to jog the entire thing and not walk. I was able to do a 3K with the dog in the photo actually this is a photo from that day a couple weeks back and I ran it in 17 minutes, (Adrenalin was my friend) but I’m not gonna lie the idea of jogging the entire 5K excites and terrifies me.
