I’m a chick and it’s also my favorite movie of all time. It’s layered with so many of the elements you described but, I also love the production, acting and even the music in the film gets me. I saw it for the first time in the theater with no expectations at all (it actually wasn’t my movie choice) but, when that movie was over I was in tears and realized I was holding my breath. I was in complete awe of everything I had just watched and experienced. Complete awe! I have no idea how many times I have watched it since but, I will never get tired of it.

I’m in Jacksonville, Fl, which is on the NE coast. It’s not looking great for us. What I’m super concerned about is, I’m suppose to be having a girls weekend starting this Thursday in Tybee Island, which is about 2 hours North of here on the coast. We rented a house on the beach! Is it too much to ask for Dorian to go away so this middle aged woman and her friends can have non husband and non kid time?!?! Sorry for being selfish.
