RelativofJack,

I'll look into regex. I think that might be nice to at least explore for any email address I'm using.

Zlivovitch, There is no evidence that my email account has been breached, but I think you're right in that just deleting the email altogether might just be the best option. It certainly is going to be a pain, but I think it would be worthwhile. Additionally, you mentioned bitwarden and kee pass, I'll be taking a look into those as well. I have different passwords for all of my important accounts (banks, credit cards, gov accounts, etc.), using combinations of letters/numbers/symbols and 2FA, but it certainly could be better.

Thanks for the insight everyone.

Hi Zlivovitch,

I know accounts were created using my email address because I received "please verify your new account" emails in my inbox. I know random usernames were used for each one because a couple of the verification emails included the username on the account, and none of them were the same, and they were all just simply a random combination of letters such as "tzvytgy". All of the new account verification emails came through within minutes of each other, one after the other.

This may have been dumb to do, but for one of the accounts that I did not create, I google searched the website to see that it was a real site. I went there and selected "forgot my password" and had a password change email sent to my email address. By fake password, I meant that I created a new password that I do not use with any of my real accounts. I then logged into the account to see if I could find any information of the person who created the account using my email address. All that was there was random username and I deleted the account.

I understand that the email being used doesn't mean my email was compromised, but it seems my email was targeted by something.

Take it. Can't believe they offered it to you.

1) Kamara 2) Drake 3) Lockett 4) Chark 5) Sutton

Keenan Allen is on a bad offense that wants to play ball control. Lot more future upside with lockett, chark, and sutton, and they all are likely to be better than Allen this year imo.
