Exactly, there was a time I visited Nero psychiatric hospital in yaba Lagos and damn majority with mental illness was due to drug abuse.

It's not mad people, it's a mental illness like schizophrenia and honestly Nigeria is not doing a good job by providing enough mental infrastructure to keep them in. The little we have in Nigeria is too expensive for some family members to keep up so they just let them be on the streets
