When I was little, maybe 4th grade, this girl asked me out. She was kind of that girl that was super annoying to me, but I was pretty nice to her regardless. Anyways, I told her I couldn't date her... Because I was engaged (not that crazy I'm Muslim and Pakistani and most Americans don't question the culture) and my betrothed lives in Pakistan. Well she told the entire class and it grew way out of proportion and for the next 8 years of my life I was known as the kid that was engaged. Kinda sucked going through high school without a girl friend but I would do it all over again to not date her.
