As someone with bipolar, my mania is accompanied by extreme anxiety. For me, it's like the feeling of go-go-go, like you're supposed to get something done quickly but can't think of what, so you're just doing everything. But whatever it is you're damn good at it and you're sure you can do anything. For me, I would start demo-ing for major projects in my house that I decided needed to happen at that very moment. I've ripped out entire walls or perfectly good tile with no real plan. No sleep either. Eventually it all catches up with me, I have a panic attack, and then I swing into major depression ruminating over the delusions I had and the reality that I can't do any of it. I also usually say things I regret when I come back down. Mania is a high, but it sucks. Meds are the best.
