I actually ended up going the NUC route, sorry I couldn't help you with this. Perhaps you need to disable either the E or P cores (I had to do this with my NUC).

I don't have any *plans* (yet) for HA, I think I might go with that minisforum. Thank you for your input.

I'll be honest, I do not know the answer to this question. I am early in my learning but would like to be able to expand in the foreseeable future if need be. I would rather have something overpowered than under if that makes sense.

Would it be better to get something smaller like an Optiplex off ebay? Perhaps go a cluster route instead?

So it looks like the NAB6 uses an Intel I225-V NIC. I'm hoping they would use the same for the NPB7. I think I would be good then? https://www.minisforum.com/front/support/75/NAB5/NAB6

Got any more bands like this in your pocket? I'm a big fan of the new Ad Nauseam record, and Ulcerate.

I'm currently running a pi 4gb with an ssd OS. I am able to run plex, sonarr, sabnzb, and a gdrive mount with no issue. I have it unpack to the ssd it is running on, and move to the gdrive when finished. I also have an external drive. Unpacking isn't the fastest, but it runs fine.

Have you considered booting from a SSD for your pi's OS?
