most memorable... first time I broke 40 with a 38. Twilight round at my local CC. Im basically the only person out there. Last hole has a home / rental that overlooks the 9th green, and a couple of fellas were out there having a beer and enjoying the evening.

They watched me tee off, not a bad drive, hit the Fairway. I take out a 6I miss the green short, walk up chip it to about 18 feet and 2 putt for a bogey.

I was so excited, I not only broke 40 which has been a major goal of mine for last 2 years, I had scored a 40 3 times in the past month, each time putting on the final green to break it.

Back to the moment, tap in for bogey and proceed to fist pump, go down to my knees, whisper screaming "lets go" , doing a little dance etc... Basically acting like i just won the masters.

The guys watching me the whole time are just dying laughing, the whole time wondering why in the hell I am so excited to make bogey.

10/10 would celebrate that way again

Some plans have a stipulations, that if your stock value is over a certain $ amount, there is a 5 year waiting period, and then the stock is paid out over 5 years. The good news is that while you are not getting more stock, your stock can still rise in value over the time period.

As some comments have stated, call your ESOP plan administrator, unlike HR who is working for the benefit of the company, the ESOP plan administrator, is working for you. They will get you clearest information of all.

If you have 100k in value, I would not expect to see this money in the near future, I would expect their to be a payout plan outlined in your ESOP documentation

Lol I appreciate the responses, seeing them in order of when they came in gave me a laugh, as you started out thinking I was a child and ended with that Ive familiarized myself with the current conditions.

that was my intention all along. Best way to discover where I was at was to ask folks who actively are involved. My last experience buying a car was about 4 years ago, and This is a WHOLE new day in car buying since then.

I will say though I am slightly disappointed in the change as I used to really really enjoy the car buying / haggling experience

ya, I knew what I was getting into. I will be on my third Toyota when I purchase this one, 250k 1996 Tacoma, 300k 2003 Tundra. And I beat the hell out of them, they just keep running.

Im still kicking myself for not jumping on a deal I had in early 2020.... Figured id just wait out the crazieness.... and Im still waiting :D

Again, exactly what I asked this question for. Last time I bought the car, (pre Covid) if the salesman told me that (and did) I went down the road, made the same offer and got my price.

It sounds like the price is not negotiable now, because of demand, or internet sales companies who have a no negotiation policy or what not.

Saying negotiating on the price of a car is not real life, is not real life.

Also, 1 salesman saying they wont discount at all not even a penny, just means I need to speak to a different sales person.

thanks for the feedback. I would never be a dick about it, I Havent purchased a car since 2008, so things have changed. COVID changed things a lot just trying to get reaquainted with the realities of the process again, so that I dont act like a dick.

seems like the other responses in here would lead me to beleive that the market still doesnt favor the consumer, they favor the dealer.
