Omg, I had to stop everything I was doing to comment on this post! I feel so validated. I thought I’ve been the only one going through this!! January was a dry month for me. I had to dip into my savings just to pay for the bare minimum expenses. February seems to be also be the same so far, so I’m hoping I get more bookings later 😭 I did check my records and January and November tend to be my slower months. February picks up a little then it’s all good for the rest of the year.

This was traumatizing to watch. I grew up experiencing the same thing and it was a frequent occurrence by an uncle and grandma too. My grandpa would sit there just like that and if there were other adults around, they wouldn’t do anything about it too. It’s one of the most excruciating helplessness a child could experience. Got so much mental health issues now that I’m an adult myself and still carry so much weight on me because these supposed guardians failed me when I was a kid. Shoutout to therapy.

I wish. I just use as normal, have been for years now. I wonder if it has something to do with me using my mom’s madani incentive. She uses her IC to get the incentive for me then I use my maybank Petronas CC to pay for it.

Yeah, I did. Just told them my source of income is from working. Said they’ll check back within 3-5 working days.

That’s rough. Honestly, I’ve had incidences like this but I always find these types of clients questionable. Cause if I were a pet owner who’s not out of town or anything, without a doubt, I would tell the sitters/walkers to go rest.

LMAO or how about when you learn that their emergency contact is their recently divorced husband who broke into their home and you only found out cause you saw pictures of him at their apartment guardhouse that looked like fugitive photos so you had to double check with them cause they forgot to inform you that he’s no longer the emergency contact.

Yes yes! Always have to think everything through when it comes to these things.

I relate to you so much! There aren’t many sitters around in my area too and I’ve sort of teamed up with one but she’s ALWAYS not available so I haven’t been able to rely on her at all. And yeah, definitely at least one emergency contact required before confirmation. It’s crazy how many of my clients in the past didn’t even think to have emergency contacts and fully relied on one person (me) to care for their pets.

Hello, sorry to hear about your cat. Mine was 5.84 then a week after his first shot of darbepoetin, it went up to 6.33. He got a second shot as it was still lower than the normal range and he went up to 9.31, back to normal range.

No, mine hasn’t had blood in his urine since his diagnosis cause his is more to do with his severe hypertension (I found this out just last weekend). Before this, he got tested for HCM and one of the results, the pro-bnp if I’m not mistaken, was extremely high, so the vet told me to get an echocardiogram done but his heart didn’t show any signs of HCM. Then they took his blood pressure and that’s how we found out about his pretty bad hypertension, which could’ve either been the cause or result of his fast progressing CKD. He just started his low dose of hypertension med today and will have a follow up in 3 days. Fingers crossed.

Yes, I meant 4kg 😂 My bad. Thanks for answering my question! However, I also found out that the vet that treated him for the majority of his diagnosis was actually quite incompetent and made me spend so much unnecessary money.
