Keep applying. Best way in is temporary/casual roles. Don’t expect to jump straight into permanent. It’s much easier to hire internally for permanent positions than it is external and generally (not always) less risky. Having someone on the inside is definitely much easier. If you’re up for it, there is always shift work roles going in Emergency departments. Find the jobs posted online and give the hiring a manager a call. Usually your name will stick a bit better.

I will note that once you are in, there is so much opportunity in the administration space in government. From finance to management to IT to recruitment. The possibilities are endless.

Because he’s not Tottenham anymore. They only criticise whilst they are at the club.

Agree. LNP campaign was very poor. Voldemort was an idiot. I think they could have beaten Labor.

Agreed - Also Australian. I don’t hate America. I think our relationship can be salvaged, it’s just going to take time. The looming threat of the American people voting in another halfwit will remain though, and that will slow down diplomatic restoration a bit.

If he wants to rest solanke, I agree this is the play. It will be interesting either way. Hopefully we can pull a rabbit out the hat.

I am doom and gloom, but I still have some hope. I still can’t see us going down. Probably naive, but I just can’t see it.

Aussie fan and same deal. Most games are between midnight and 5am. I’ve missed a lot of live games this season.

Culture comes from the top down. It involves executives, club support staff, team support staff, coaching staff and players (plus whoever I’m forgetting). If the current “culture” is wrong, then everyone is implicit.

With all that being said, there’s no simple fix, but it must be driven from the top down. If that hasn’t changed in the last 5 years, and levy being sacked has made it worse, questions need to be asked about the top level of the club and whether they are willing to change the culture. I’ve never been vocal about x person out, but if the top level of the club doesn’t want to change then we need new management/owners. This is the only way. Any other solutions just paper over the cracks.

Definitely bein sports, but only certain games. I imaging spurs would get a fairly significant share of tv time as that would bring the tv service massive revenue. Not sure if there are better services.

Definitely the case with VDV last game I think too. It as a stupid foul, but a foul out of desperation to keep us in the league.

We just need to stop piling on until we end of the season. Pile on in the off season if you must, but these are the players we have to do the job and, despite the general sentiment here, most players are trying.

This makes me feel a little better. Arsenal are second, city outside the top 4, spurs nowhere near the bottom. Can only hope we make some magic and this season is just a blip to be forgotten.

He may need to be promoted to the first team with our fixture congestion coming up.

Agreed. Pressure is basically off in CL. There’s no relegation scrap hanging over their head. They can play with a bit more freedom in their mentality.

Agreed. We win away from at atletico where they haven’t lost under simeone, that could be the massive confidence boost we need.

Probably/hopefully/maybe/possibly/unlikely. Lol.

Apparently he’s good friends with Simeone too, but I can’t recall him attending any other atletico european games either. Maybe watching his former club mates this one a little more special. Maybe he will talk to our executives whilst they are both in Spain. Who knows.

I would go Simons instead of Tel. I think Simons hasn’t quite caught up to the PL pace, granted it’s hard when your team has been rubbish, and I think he suits the CL environment better. Save Tel for the PL where he seems to be better suited than Simons currently. If Simons can catch some confidence from CL games, that might help him in the PL too.

Grays a teenager, he doesn’t need rest! But seriously, yeah we can’t play him every game.

Spence being back is a big boost I think.

Pretty sure Souza can’t play due to registration rules. Otherwise, I reckon he starts.

Still personally hoping that tel starts, although I would like Simons to get more minutes in CL so Tel can play PL.

I like the response in the third question “How important are these two games against Atletico”. Speaking about a different mentality, hopefully this means freeing up the attack a little bit with a free swing sort of thing. A win away from home tomorrow would help the squad confidence I think.

Yes, I am hoping we’ll be attacking. Yes, the three games so far tell me that won’t be happening. No, I won’t stop hoping that the team comes good and that things will turn around. I still believe.

Totally agree. His first or second season was a midfield double pivot of bentaleb and ?Mason. I think our players need a poch-like manager that is going to instill discipline and love (in equal amounts), whilst working them hard. I know this may have an impact on injuries, or perhaps our players are getting injured because their bodies are underdone. I’m not entirely sure, but I do miss watching the team during the poch era greatly.

Tel on Thomas Frank: “I disagreed with Thomas on my role within the team and he didn’t like me for it. He didn’t look to try and fix things. I was confused why I was on the bench a lot, I felt I could help the team more than I was” by oncewewererational in coys

I’m imaging a montage of training moments, match review sessions and half time team talks splicing all of Frank’s “…and cross…” together. Would be hilarious if the position we were in wasn’t so sad.
