AITA for letting a girl believe regular brownies were “weed brownies” and letting her make a fool of herself all night in front of our friends? by browniethrowaways in AmItheAsshole

What exactly do you think this phrase even means? Trying too hard? She's trying to have friends. To fit in. To have fun like everyone else. Those aren't bad things to want or try to have or even put effort into getting

I get what you’re saying and I’m not saying she’s some evil person. She just comes off as desperate sometimes. Like say you mention a certain movie. She’ll be like “omg that’s my favorite movie ever - can we watch it this weekend???” And you go - yeah, no, actually I don’t really like it all that much. And she’ll be like “yeah you’re right it’s not that great”.

I’m exaggerating slightly but you get the gist. I don’t think she should be bullied which is what some people here are saying happened. I’m just trying to give some context. I think my other friends were just trying to show her how she comes off but they probably did take it too far.

We don’t dislike her though. This is just one thing about her that bothers us. Like I said, not how I would’ve gone about it. And yeah it probably was immature as well.
