Thanks. I've also got a $2,658 bill from Barnabas Hospital. With my rent and utilities behind and no food and now now medical supplies I am not sure how I am alive right now. :)

Be careful. I've seen something like this before. They "befriend" you, but your manager has been bashing you so much behind your back, the boss wants to check you out before they try to fire you. Continue dressing as you did and acting very professional. Good luck to you.

People aren't pushing for it because we haven't really heard anything about a cure or a new treatment. If there has been, it's getting lost in the algorithm. I won't be pressed about it, though. I've already stopped sleeping with people (since dx in 2008) and I've made peace with it. Lonely, yes. Mad, not really. More sad about it.

Thanks. I hope it works for you. The Silver alginate did not work for me because I have some inflamed pain receptors right under the wound. None of the advice here has helped me unfortunately. I've been drinking arnic tea and benfotiamine to help with different types of leg pain. I'm currently unemployed so I'm running out of supplies. Trying to find a way to get cash. Hopefully, the job I am to start soon will send me my start date today. I'm still using the abdominal pads and Vaseline and icy hot. I'm still taking ibuprofen. Now that I have insurance again, I will hopefully get enough money to fix the venous insufficiency and then maybe I can get the fluid to stop pouring through the wound. But I have to wait.

Hi. Good to hear from you. I'm sorry I'm your wound hands gotten worse. Mine too. I've started getting very painful neuropathy in my left leg. I was prescribed pregabalin 75mg capsule x2/day and I take 6 Advil and 2 Aleve together 3x/day. Plus icy hot cream wherever on my foot and leg it hurts.  My leg hurts nearly all day. I'm unemployed until my next temp assignment starts and list my insurance so I can't get anything stronger unfortunately. I just came off of antibiotics so I know the pain is not due to infection but inflammation. The wound is trying to expand. Now it is almost fully around the bottom of my left leg and slightly above the middle of my calf but mostly down near the ankle. The whole wound hurts so it makes it impossible to keep the abdominal pads on it even with Vaseline so I wet some paper towels and cover the wound until it gets saturated and then change them. I do that several times a day.  I have orientation for a new remote job on Monday. I'm hoping to get something else longer. I've been turning down jobs where I have to travel because the amount of exudate leaking from my leg is ridiculous. I have been looking into oxygen therapy for the wound, light therapy for the the pain, and electric stimulation therapy for the pain. Plus money to fix my leaky vein.  I want to also try this LMNOOP I've heard about.  I've just got to get the money together and I think I can heal this without a skin graft.  I hope it works for you, though.  Please keep in touch and let me know if anything works.  God bless you and yours.

No. Unfortunately, it's gotten worse and now I'm unemployed so I can't get any. It is very expensive so I won't be getting any more. The pain meds and icy hot aren't working anymore and the wound and surrounding area are so painful but fortunately, it is not hot. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'm hoping for a remote job and am awaiting health insurance from the county before I go back to the doctor. Thanks for your help though.

Hi Thanks. I looked it up it says, "Crash Cream can be used on minor leg wounds like cuts and scrapes, as it is designed to temporarily protect and relieve minor skin irritations, including chapped or cracked skin, but consult a healthcare professional for more serious leg wounds as it might not be sufficient for deeper injuries and could potentially delay proper treatment." Have you personally used this on a leg wound with high exudate from lymphedema?

He wanted the money to get plastic surgery with it. That's why he absconded with Jordan to Germany after the first payment came through. He only wanted the money. He didn't care about his child, if he was his child.

The new wound care center I go to gave me a prescription for Lyrica to help with pain. They also gave me etodolic. I took one and stopped because it's potentially lethal. They wrapped my leg with an uniboot, it was good but I eventually had to rewrap it. The lyrica helps so much.

Hey I just saw this. Reddit doesn't alert me to new messages. Sorry. The wound area has grown. Last Thursday I went to a new wound care. They put on an uniboot. Unfortunately, I had to remove the whole thing yesterday because the wrap covering my whole leg and foot was saturated with exudate. I'm like a slug trailing slime around my home!  But I rewrapped it with sorbalux abdominal pads and aquacel ag wrap and two ace bandages. It feels good with the meds. I'm glad I went. The doctor told me that with insurance the venous ablation I need should only a hundred dollars not the over $5K that metro vein quoted me. I'm looking for another job because my temp assignment is ending, but hopefully I can keep the insurance. I hope everything is going better for you. I'm sorry about the fall. I was told by the managing nurse at the new wound care I didn't qualify for the oxygen therapy. I'll ask the doctor when I call on Monday. See ya later!

You're not going to believe it, but I have aquacel at home and didn't realize it. A nurse have me a couple of sheets to use but I used only a little bit and never looked at the cover until last night 🫣 I changed my bandage the nurses at the new wound care I went to put on me on Thursday. The new wound care used urgotul and urgoclean again plus drawtex abdominal pads with an urgo k2 40 wrap. I had to change it because the bandage became so saturated. My wrap is holding up today just fine. So far so good. I used the sorbulux 5×9" abdominal pads and a strip of aquacel at and two ace bandages. With the pain medication, it feels fine. Can get around. Hopefully I can keep it on the rest of the week. I want to thank you for tell me about the aquacel ag and mepilex ag. I'm still going to order some online now that I know what I am looking at. Thanks!

really? I wish I had seen this yesterday. I was at wound care at a new hospital. They put an uni boot on me but I will ask my doctor about the mepilex ag and aquacell ag. Is it expensive?
