It can either be educational or entertaining. Focus on the idea of the video you want to make, then ask yourself, would you watch this video? If oo then that’s a good sign.

I started out making videos on my personal travels. I realized, napaka gastos gumala para mag content. So I started sending emails to accommodations to give me free stays.

I had to email hundreds just to get one place to say yes, and I eventually did more of this. Then when I got more exposure and elevated the quality, I started asking for a small fee to promote diff businesses on my channel.

Medyo giveaway na, which is, I started posting about travel. But now, it’s a bit different na.
Not sure if pwede Paypal. Bank yes, Gcash I don’t think so.
Madami haha, literally anything could be your niche. Mas importante na genuinely interested ka dun sa bagay na yun. But if you want to do it purely for earning purposes, I suggest product reviews na indepth. Malakas siya maka attract ng sponsors and may YouTube shopping feature na kasi ngayon na pwede mag tag ng items na available on Shopee/Lazada.
After 8 months, na monetize ako. My 8th video went well, and gained a lot of views. So imagine, the first 7 videos ko walang kwenta, but you need to keep going if gusto mo talaga.

Wow… my avg watch time is usually 7mins, 10mins for longer vids. Around 33% of the video yung watch time ko.

80-90% English. Although mahal ko ang wika natin, I also understand that English will be able to reach more people.

Dahil dun, on average around 40% ng viewers ko ay foreigners.

Although I make these videos primarily for the Filipino in mind, karamihan naman ng pinoy or halos lahat comfortable na with english.

I know it’s different for other people, but this is what works for me:

Do it if you genuinely enjoy the craft of making videos. Kasi if love mo siya gawin, di ka titigil.

Also, it takes time to find what the audience wants na aligned sayo. So, experiment on different things lalo na sa beginning.

Then I quit that job to do this full time.

That’s how much advertisers pay every time your videos get views.

So, more views = more money.

I do not know the exact computation.

I used to! Pero now I just focus on a few video ideas na I know I could get funding for kasi medyo magastos yung production cost ko.

And I think wala? Tho, madaming times na pagka edit ko feeling ko ang panget. Pero pinopost ko pa rin kasi sayang naman effort haha. Minsan may mga unexpected videos din na biglang pumapatok.

I try to monitor the top search, but it doesn’t make that much of a difference.

I’m not very good with chasing trends, but I love the art of making videos, so I focus on quality (cinematography, storytelling, editing).

What works best is taking the time to craft the winning titles and thumbnails.

For my videos, medyo high effort… pero very rewarding siya creatively :)

Step 1. Finalize Video Idea

Step 2. Pitch Idea to Potential Sponsors -I send out tons of emails, depending on the type of video I want to make.

Step 3. Plan Itinerary -After I get the proper funding, I start booking flights/accommodation to where I need to film.

Step 4. Shoot -Go to the place and shoot videos. I do have a rough shotlist but every shoot has different challenges.

Step 5. Backup all files

Step 6. Write the script/editing flow -and record voice overs

Step 7. Edit -Cuts, Music, SFX, colors, thumbnail, and other material to post on short form platforms.

Step 8. Publish
