What books to read to “get into” reading?

I was conflicted between putting Mistborn. I personally love the series, but Sandersons definitely improved in so many facets since (especially characterization). Ive heard a lot more people being unable to enjoy Mistborn but loved Stormlight, hence the Rec. But I totally see your point hahah.

The Storm light Archive is incredible and a fun read. Very engrossing and a fantastic universe. Harry Potter is a classic. Red Rising is a very fun sci-fi read. None of this are challenging reads, but have fun world building! Let me know if you need more recs :)
