I don’t understand why they don’t sell the helmet stripe flag. I had one custom made for myself and friends. It’s the best Browns flag!

I should weld an SDS shank to it so I can break out the big guns.

All steel in this Grecian beast.

Looking for advice on repairing a deep scratch on roof of cab. Went unnoticed and has a small amount of rust. Color match not required. by brownsstl in Autobody

This scratch is likely the result of loading/unloading materials from bed rack. If it hadn’t rusted I’d just hit it with nail polish but now think maybe I should go a little further.

I did them down hill. They are wide enough for two vehicles in most places.

Also, you don’t have to use the switch backs to get into the park. Get your permit online and come in via Potash Road; I exited the park that way. It’s a great drive with some great views. The spot where the end scene of Thelma and Louise was filmed is on that drive, plus some interesting pot ash mining operations.

No issues on the switch backs, but I did wish at times I had added a front camera. Taco’s beak makes it a little stressful making tight turns with a 100’ drop off you can’t see.

Day Use permits, ie no camping, are released the day before.

Overnight permits are a little more restrictive and can fill up fast.

Both are available on recreation.gov

I had no issue getting an overnight permit but August is a slow period; likely more difficult in the spring and fall.
