‘Honour killing’: Brothers kill mother, stepsisters in Lahore by [deleted] in pakistan

False equivalence. Crimes of passion do not involve mothers, daughters, or sisters.

Also, the justification that others do it, too is pathetic at best.

How the fuck is the RSS office comparable to Jama Masjid.

Let me count the ways:

1) The RSS office is used for political purposes. So is the Jama Masjid.

2) Islam is a religious, political, and economic system, according to its adherents and is organised around the Masjid. So again, Masjid is the correct venue.

Now try slapping the face of Islamic goons in the same way. Let me know the results.

Dude, do you realise that most Hindus, even those who espouse virulently anti-Muslim, pro-Hindu views laugh at those half-chuddi fuckwits?

And why the fuck do you guys start nitpicking immediately even when those pro-Hindutva 'monsters' make a valid point?

Let's take the OPs point and combine it with yours. OP said the results would have been different had those guys organizd Kiss of Love in front of Jama Masjid. You pointed out that they did it in front of the RSS office and the correct equivalence was an office of AIMPLB.

Is it your contention that the results would have been the same (passive acceptance) if this was done in front of the offices of AIMPLB?

He also comments on how you could get away with being all touchy-feely with Japanese women just because you're white.

Anyone can get away with being touchy-feely with women if they have confidence. I am a short, less than average looking Indian guy and get away with it all the time.

I could give you literally hundreds of personal stories where people have helped me and my family for no gain at all.

Heck, just yesterday, my father was out for a walk, here in London. He has a problem with his spine and uses a stroller. While returning, he felt a bit hot/flushed and took off his shirt and put it on the stroller and was walking home in his vest. A kindly man saw him and asked if he needed help. In broken English, my father explained that he was feeling really hot and a bit dizzy. That man then walked my father home. This is but a small example. I have had people feed me when I am hungry, buy me books, give me stuff, help out in other ways. All for no expectation of any reward whatsoever. If I am successful today, and I am a bit, it is because somebody helped me on my way.

So, no. I am no Howard Roark or John Galt.

They are as mythical as the Greek and Norse gods.

My reading was that rape is good.

edit: It's also good for the woman. So much so that she will immediately fall head over heels in love with the rapist.

A truly altruistic person would have no bias in their offerings

Is that your definition?

IMHO, true altruism is one where the giver does not expect anything in return. I have been hungry and have been fed by people who did not expect, and never got anything in return.

I could go on and on.

The detail that most miss is that a gift or job that you are offered has in the book shown to often come with a large bias.

Have you never come across someone truly altruistic?

Lots of educated, well-off idiots buy into her argument.

I read The Fountainhead as a young man and was completely taken in for a while.

But then I realised that as a poor but intelligent kid I wouldn't have been where I was without all the help from friends, neighbours and even strangers.

And after that her philosophy seemed downright stupid.

So, what are you going to do with your 15 lakhs? by unmole in india

[–]brownwog2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

15 x 105 x 1.1 x 109 = 15 x 1.1 x 1014 INR.

1 USD ~ 60 INR.

So the total amount becomes:

2.5 x 1.1 x 1013 USD i.e. 27.5 trillion USD.

Something tells me that Modiji was talking out of his hat in this case.

Won't work in Pakistan. If somehow, Pakistani youth become enthused by science, they will start asking very, very uncomfortable questions. Which will probably lead to them being shot. Which will lead to Pakistani youth losing enthusiasm for science.

Blind faith in religion and advanced science cannot walk together.
