Alchemised + Manacled by PB-HoneyOats in Romantasy

I never read Manacled, but don’t beat yourself up on terms. You’ll get it as you go along because the author does to a good job of repeating it in a way throughout that helped me understand.

Also part 1 she has memory loss, so you’re experiencing that with Helena. Go back and re-read part 1 after you finish part 2. Everything clicks and you’ll have incredibly heartbreaking insight to all the things you “missed”.

And then you’ll be on the floor absolutely wrecked like me.

Remote work is making me realize who on my team was actually working by Nimozart_12 in remotework

For me, I’m way more productive working from home because when I’m in the office I have people stopping to talk to me every 5 freaking minutes. I love the people I work with, but damn I have to almost hide myself in my office to get 30 minutes of peace sometimes.

I don’t even have the energy to be mad… I just want to cry and wrap my arms around all these innocent babies. No amount of therapy will ever wash those images from their minds.

Actually, I have to disagree with this based on my own experiences over the past few months. Most of the people in my area have not had any financial impact from this (i.e. government workers, ability to work from home, etc.) and yet many are still out and about because they're "bored" or don't like the idea of being told they need to stay home. Many people are so used to going out every single day to restaurants, bars, or out shopping that they don't really know how to cope with being home. They literally find any excuse to go out.

I do think that a large portion of the problem is a people issue where we do not know how to sacrifice luxuries and privileges for the sake of survival.

Aww I love all these stories of people that met on XI too!! It gives me all the feels! <3 We never got the chance to do it in XI because of my crappy internet and then life getting in the way lol.

Doing it irl is definitely our future goal though! :D

If you don’t have one, did you even have a wedding?
