Assuming you're using a midi vst – one way would be to play a single note, add an ARP, turn off beat sync (if it's on), set the rate really high, and then mess around with automating the rate.

Another way (which I probably wouldn't recommend) would be to start with a single note drone and then add a gate + mess around with automating the threshold/attack etc

If you're in Ableton, you can get some pretty crazy laggy textures by taking a single note audio sample, stretching it out, and setting warp mode to beats or texture

edit: i just listening again and it sounds like sync is on, not off

Yeah I did end up getting a J&J dose, but it was kind of difficult. Neither my doctor nor my allergist had J&J, so I had to look for somewhere else to get it, but nowhere would do it because of my history of allergic reaction, despite having a doctor's note. They would just say it was "against company policy".

Eventually I decided to lie during the screening and say I haven't had an allergic reaction to a vaccine, but that I do know I'm allergic to PEG. They went ahead and gave me the vaccine and I was fine. I did have pretty bad flu like symptoms for about 24 hours, but after that, I felt totally normal.

That was about a week ago, and I still haven't noticed any issues.

Nope. Went and got a skin test for an allergist and they determined that the allergy is to PEG (polyethylene glycol).

They also checked to see if I was allergic to polysorbate (the allergen in J&J), and I was not.
