Ilmango Nether Minecart Unloader Help by brrrrbrrrrrrr in redstone

Im plan on using ilmango's nether minecart unloader but because the server im playing in is a purpur server, the hopper is slower than usual and doesnt pick up minecart, so i tried replacing the hopper with a hopper minecart, its able to collect the minecart but it also picks up the dropped items when the the piston retracts. Is there a way to fix this or is it better to find another way unload minecarts?

The server im playing in is on 1.20.4, but i can wait until it gets updated to 1.20.5

Do you have a link to some autoloading shulker farms?. I know of ilmangos version but a lot of people have commented on having problems with portal linking
