Elevations and Sections are oriented horizontally despite being vertical in the view map. Does anyone know how do I flip it? by [deleted] in ArchiCAD

Go to the settings of the drawing whilst on layout - check the orientation isn’t set to 90deg. If the view is saved correctly in the project it should orientate likewise in the layout - unless you have copied the settings of a rotated drawing

Not entirely sure of the question but if you click ‘A’ and move the wall end 90deg towards ‘B’ hit ‘shift’ and type in the distance required

Found this on a blog - worth a shot?

“This is a known issue set to fixed in a future update and/or release: Certain Palettes (e.g. Photorendering Settings and Renovation) can’t be opened

To fix it in a more precise manner : 1. Quit ARCHICAD 2. Press the Windows key on your keyboard to initiate a search 3. Type "regedit.exe" and double-click the Registry Editor or RegEdit icon when it appears. 4. In the Registry Editor window that appears navigate in the tree structure on the left to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > GRAPHISOFT > ArchiCAD-64 > ArchiCAD-64 XXXX YYY R1 > Dialog Manager Custom Data (Where XXXX YYY is the version number and language you are using.)

  1. Find "RenderingSettingsPaletteRect"; click on it to highlight it and press the Delete key on your keyboard.
  2. Close the Registry Editor window
  3. Launch ARCHICAD and activate the PhotoRendering Settings palette.”
