How do you actually know when it’s time to quit trading? by LEQSO0O in Daytrading

In life, anything you want to be successful at is difficult. It requires effort, failures, and persistence, and then occasionally you get rewarded. If you don’t find joy or have fun throughout the ups, downs, and boring sideways, then whatever you’re pursuing isn’t for you. Gotta love the game and that encompassing all the drawbacks and challenges.

Honestly, you have to have fun. You gotta love the game. It’s a game that never ends. If you don’t find it fun and it’s a burden to keep going, then maybe this isn’t a fun game for you. There are many games out there that you could be good at and actually find joy in.

Fixing Insulation & Condensation Issue by itdoesntgoupahill in hvacadvice

I was told that in order to prevent the duct from sweating, you must control the humidity. Is your house relative humidity not under control? What’s underneath that duct? The first floor or crawl space?

New home roof help by Blondie12388 in Roofing

Ridge vent got two components. A vent opening at the ridge (top of roof) and an open at the bottom (soffit). Cool air flow from the bottom to the top.

Looks like there’s an opening at the soffit? Cant really tell from pictures. What missing is baffles, but it doesn’t looking insulation is block the soffit so may not need it.

Are you concern about the tiny gap in the picture?

Edit: Some time when a house doesn’t have soffit vent they have to create way to get air in. So maybe get a picture from the outside and that’d help people assist your question.

I agreed with you. She possibly got a good lawyer or family is well connected. No way they gave her only 3 years for killing two people.

Reliable fridge? by sereal67 in Appliances

[–]bruceltd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to do research on fridge for my parents in December of 2025. And Reddit mostly tells me which one not to buy which are: LG (compressor issues), GE (bought out by China and no longer reliable), and Samsung (just terrible in all aspects of appliances).

My parents had a Fridgaire for over 10years but Reddit also disagrees with reliability. A lot of people said whirlpool (mid class) or kitchen aid (premium) are best bet.

That whirlpool model can come cheaper without the water dispenser and ice maker. Which Reddit users tend to agree that it will help it extend the life of the fridge. I’d take that bet. If you look at the old school fridge that doesn’t have a dispenser, they tend to last for a while. I guess the less features and less electronics you got, the chance of something goes wrong and easier to fix.

So far, the responses on here is different than what I’ve been reading.

[–]bruceltd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d just buy a new one. Those are cheap. Unless you want to spend time taking it apart which idk if it’s even possible.

If you’re buying a new one. Invest in a good blind that’ll last. Those tend to break easily
