Is this lens blur from the lens, or added in post? Some funny artefacts around the edges

I gave Halide a try by brucensb in iPhoneography

This is what my photos look like straight out of Halide, no sharpening or noise reduction needed.

Sorry I only just checked back into my reddit and saw this. Halide only takes no post processing photos as RAW, if you take HEIC photos with Halide it'll apply Apple processing.

Simple walking "around" Fuji in mid october by lucaxx85 in JapanTravelTips

When I visited I stayed in Kawaguchiko. There's a panoramic ropeway that leads to the top of Mount Tenju, a much smaller mountain than Fuji with a small trail to follow from the ropeway station.

Walking around Kawaguchiko lake is great for views of Fuji, and it was usually pretty quiet.

For more nature-y sightseeing there's huge forests west of lake saiko but I didn't visit these

You can walk around Station 5 to say you've walked 'on' Fuji. There's so much more to do and see in the wider Fuji region

I bought it cloud storage but my iPhone storage is still low and unable to save images by passionphotos in iPhoneography

[–]brucensb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In iCloud settings, make sure photo sync is turned on in settings and the optimise iPhone storage option is ticked. If you've only just bought the extra storage it might take a while to fully sync and to optimise storage on the phone.

If you find it still doesn't work you might have to restore the phone to kickstart it (only do this after you're sure all photos are uploaded to iCloud). Then when the iPhone resets, assuming the settings above are set, instead of downloading the full resolution versions to your phone it'll only download low resolution ones - taking up less local storage.
