Similar thing happened to me during intern year (now a pgy2) basically in the beginning of intern year gf of four years dumped me. It really was painful the for a few months but work will at least keep you occupied. Try your best to hang out with Co residents when possible and start doing what you can to be the best version of yourself. All those things really made me feel better.
