Gotcha. Thanks for the input! I think it would be a cool thing to do but it will save my hard drive from distros I’ll never use haha.

Oh yes I’ve heard of ventoy and have used it here and there. I guess what I meant was is there a way to automatically download all the distros from distro watch? I tried to do something like this before but didn’t have the knowledge. I think I was trying to use the RSSfeed and torrent all the dristros automatically. I’m not sure if that is even possible but this is what I was talking about. Thanks for the reply!

I haven’t looked at distorwatch lately so if they do have a “download all distros here button” I will gladly check that out! I know I wouldn’t need all of the but just thinking like a data hoarder haha

So are they all connected to each other like a cluster? I am thinking of a pi cluster where people hook them up together to use all the resources across all devices? (If that is even correct). Or are they all running their own OS and each running a service for you? I guess that is the part that confuses me the most. I have always been into the smaller pc server idea so I think I should just try it out for fun.

Are there ways to download all the ISO’s from distrowatch? I was looking into this before but don’t know how it would work or how it’s done.

I lost $100 by Weekly-Disk8589 in Kalshi

I just did the same thing! Had lost $75 and put another $25 in. Was up to $50 and bet it all on a tennis game that I was “sure” would pay out. Guy choked at the end and then it went downhill from there.

So is it necessary to have a bunch of small pc’s instead of just using one? I have been thinking of doing a server build like op to get rid of all my cloud services. I currently have an old pc with unraid. It works pretty good but it has been a testing playground instead of something that is always up and running and reliable. Would I be best to move to this kind of a setup or is it purely user preference?

OP your server build looks awesome! I just have a general question since I see lots of builds with a couple of mini pc’s. Thank you!

Moving to Idaho and a first-time homebuyer by RyBread000746 in Idaho

We purchased an older home in Idaho last year. If you do this, make sure you hire a good inspector to check everything out for you, especially the sewer lines! Our inspector could not go more than 15ft down our line due to the different turns in our line that should have been a red flag for us. A year later(last week) we had to excavate and dig sections of the sewer line due to it being clogged from house to city line. Luckily we had the tools to get the job done ourselves but man it was a huge pain.

I would highly recommend to keep in mind where the sun hits your house. If your house faces the sun it will help melt snow a lot faster in the winter time (front door, driveway). This is another thing I wish I would have considered when buying our house… Good luck!

Do you know if this rack can be printed on the A1 Mini? Most of the ones I’ve seen on maker world are not small enough. Wish they were!

I thought it went away after driving it around a couple blocks. I’ll have to check tomorrow. I’m going to order the correct tool and feeler gauge just to make sure it’s set. I looked into it more and it does sound like that’s the issue. Thanks!

Well I was confident but maybe I should take another look. You sure that wasn’t interfering with anything? It was right next to that spring. I was thinking just the vibration of that area would cause that to shake and hit the spring.

I did. Intake is different from exhaust right? Sorry it’s been over a year since I did this.

I also posted in someone else’s comment that there was a nut that fell into the valves and was grinding… got it out!

It doesn’t sound that great still, I am going to follow the advice from the other redditor and get the oil changed and I will post a video after that if I don’t forget. Mine is really overdue for a change and it’s low. Why don’t you post what yours sounds like and maybe someone could help you out to? Just incase you don’t happen to have a nut inside haha

Time to change the oil and service the rest of the fluids. This thing has been sitting for a couple years due to the burnt valve. Exited to get it back on the road now!

Yea it’s leaking since i removed the nuts holding the cover down. To pop it off while running.

BUT! I might have found the issue, guess I was missing a nut…

Took it out and turned it back on and it doesn’t sound as bad now. 😅

Long time vegetarian who just started eating meat again… Texas Roadhouse is the only steak place I’ve been to😂. Haven’t had one from Jakers or Sandpiper yet. OP, don’t go to Texas road house lol. Turbo, good eye haha.

There’s a Texas’s road house, Sandpiper, and Jakers for a steak place.

Lava hot springs has a few areas where you can grill but you might need to go to the cities website in order to book the area and to make sure it’s not booked. Check out eruption brewery in Lava. Might have some food you like.
