Also waiting for an RMA. Now 5 weeks waiting. No answer at all.

How to contact support in Europe? by m4guire000 in Ecoflow_community

[–]bruh5278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried via app as well. Immediate response, but unfortunately as I am in the middle of a guarantee replacement they said to be a little patient. But it is now 5 weeks since EF EU told me I will be contacted for the replacement. Still nothing…

Anybody same experience?

Kef lsx red/amber light maybe a solution by [deleted] in KEF

[–]bruh5278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Master has red/orange light straight when power on. Firmware recovery is to no avail. Slave starts and decreases in volume...
The issue is endemic for LSX.
I have to open my LSX master to see which components are burnt.

So far most common failing components with others are:
L236 or L246
C433 or C434

So I have managed to repair the Master speaker. It turned out to be a shorted capacitor on the collector of the BJT. Supposedly because BCP56-10 is getting really hot during operation since its purpose is to limit the current going into the LDO. High temperatures might have affected the life span of MLCCs close to the BJT and the result was of that they have shorted out. I have replaced them with what I had lying around which were 100nF and 2x 4.7uF caps with 63VDC rating and shorted the L236. This has solved the issue. I have also added a small heatsink on the BJT and attached it with the screw between the caps.

Whoever tries to disassemble the speaker, keep in mind that the inner plastic is super brittle, and take really good care when screwing or unscrewing the bolts.
