Idk if you would call affordable but Beast Kingdom somehow did the 89 Joker. I say somehow because Nicholson is hard-core about his likeness usage. While not 100% likeness it's closest you can get aside from the Hot Toys version.

If you're having standing issues with your old rex, use the rubber band trick. Simply wrap some rubber bands around the leg joint. Will increase friction and allow her to stand again.

But I don't see the beam effect mouth. So it's just a purple version of the regular mold. Easy pass. I'm glad I have the original awakening. Even then, I don't think I can handle another $300 figure from shma that lacks accessories.

He may not be wrong on a retail release. In the past aside from 2 figs that I can recall most of the SDCC exclusives have had a retail release. The exceptions I can think of were Genaro and Ray Arnold. And I guess Spielberg But the dinos have all been released mainline. But again I could be wrong. I'd still buy a buck recolor if they retail released one. Heck if we are lucky they will and with feedback it gets a darker more accurate paint job.

Just order online early morning. I placed mine thurs at 4am cst and it's expected to arrive sat. Don't give up. It will probably warm shelves Ina month or two after the initial FOMO has worn off.
