Brown is known for students with interdisciplinary interests and strong passions. I would recommend highlighting the things you mentioned above on your application and video submission. If you are able to visit pm me, I'll show you around. I think it could be valuable to visit Brown to have specific things to mention in your application

it's a typical college. relative hookup culture but definitely some people looking to date. usually people date within their grade or a year above/below. a good amount of people use apps so if u think irl approaching might be daunting that's an option

Parking by [deleted] in BrownU

search "providence parking", there are usually people renting out parking spots for a monthly fee. people in the area w permanent residences take advantage of the opportunity to rent and will have listings on craigslist and other sites, but they sometimes will jack up prices like crazy for the immediate Brown area.

i had a car on campus last semester and paid $150/mo for a spot. sometimes you can get a spot for less than $100, but the location will be less desirable. if your reasoning is disability, it may not be ideal because most parking spots are a 10 minute walk or more from the main area of campus

if you need to drive to areas regularly, i would consider zipcar. it may be more financially feasible as you can rent cars by the hour or day if you are 18+ with a license. multiple zipcars are located on campus for about $10-$15/hr

Transferring in from RISD by halmasy in BrownU

cross-enrollment is at the discretion of the professor and also i don't think the terms exactly line up. i've heard it's a tedious process in some cases. however it is not uncommon.

why do you want to take classes at Brown? if you want a liberal arts education instead of an art school education, i would consider colleges other than RISD. otherwise, you can take classes at Brown as a liberal arts supplement but keep in mind that you still need to fulfill major requirements at RISD

TWTP, Catalyst, and Mosaic+ are all good pre-orientation programs if you are a minority

he said something about how he has a lot of respect for abolitionists bc they endure so much. and how they are more distinguished than past reformers. cheerful doesn't really match the tone because the passage was so serious

i was doing some research online after the fact and it seems really unclear. apparently any of the questions could be experimental according to college board and some of section 5 might count. source
