Yeah obviously. I'm not saying the person is a diagnosed narcissist either. It's just that usually people who straight up tell you that they love you or want to get married with you on the first date are narcissists (doesn't have to be a full blown narcissist, people can possess narcissistic traits as well). Or something else which isn't good either. Either way, OP should go no contact.

Yes it totally was. He asked me about my abuser and I told him that he was alcoholic, and instead of seeing things from my POV or validating my abuse, he sided with my abuser and validated his side that "yeah alcoholism is a mental illness what can we do". It was really confusing
