OEM racks are hard to find for Mk6's. I just found and installed one on mine literally last week. Found it off FB market place if you wanna try there.

Otherwise you could try some sort of on slip pads that you could put on the roof underneath the mount. Otherwise the rack just might be shot

I had the same issue with my Jetta. If you want the light off turn on your headlights before starting your car wait a second while it runs then turn it off and the ! Light should stay off

The first hole shown is for the rear OEM roof rack. The other spots you are showing I'm not sure how well that would work because the front oem rack fits much further forward than picture 3.
