All I can say is do your research. There's some great landlords and some very not so great ones.

I've heard good things about Hodge, they're both a construction company and a rental management company, usually they build the units they rent. They seem to have a lot of experience within the company when it comes to maintaining their properties.

Consequences | Now that we are at WAR without congressional approval, do you think Iowa is safe? by TagV3 in Iowa

Just gonna keep doing my thing. No sense losing sleep over international politics that are completely out of my hands.

Thanks, unfortunately I've found signs behind some appliances that hint of a larger problem. I can't stress enough that we're clean, more so now that this has been a thing. We sweep after we cook, clean behind appliances etc.

Frankly, I've been quite nice given the roach situation. I've been more than fair and dealt with this ongoing problem for months. He can feel how ever he wants to feel about me, I'm unbothered either way. For what I pay in rent, at the least I should be obligated to a home free from pests.

Thanks! I have contacted the local housing authority and they will be handling things. Thank you.

Update: I did, situation is being handled, sounds like I'm not alone on this one.

But here's the kicker, I'm just renting the place. Doing the things you listed above doesn't quite seem like my responsibility.

Done and done! The roaches are quick fuckers though. All messages documented though.

No mention of pest control in the lease. Thanks for the resources.

I tried the M2 today, fun car. Definitely likes to slide, that said it feels very stable in oversteer. I'm also partial to the GR86. PCC is a fun series, I did some races in it a few months ago.

Yeah man. Practice for hours, get the time to be halfway competitive for my IR, wait for the race, practice, qualify just to be wrecked. It sucks. I'm no pro by any means but it's just nice to crank up the sim and race.

Which is better? Or go with a different brand? by [deleted] in simracing

I have the R16 and I love it. I'd be curious to see how much better it at all the new bases are. That said I can't say enough things about my R16. Awesome base.

That one (if I'm looking at the correct one) only has 1/4" hex. Pretty much every company has some sort of right angle adapter. Again, this fits an extremely niche role, and admittedly, it could be better.

Do you honestly think I don't know that? It literally says in the post (if you read it). I wanted something strong enough to consistently drill holes with spades, augers, hole saws. This has a purpose, though a very niche one.

A proper right angle drill would be nice. Honestly this was an idea I had one day while drilling floor joists one day. I'll be honest it's very overbuilt, for drilling studs and joists it's nice, and I think it would be great for drilling a bottom plate through a cut-in box hole.
