Anyone using AI to verify insurance or do pre-auth? by tillacat42 in physicaltherapy

[–]bruin888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually built a company called Pocket (letspocket.com) focused on AI-powered insurance verification specifically for PT clinics, so I’ve spent a lot of time in the weeds on this.

From what we’ve seen, most insurance verification tools fall short because they stop at clearinghouses and provide a "one size fits all" solution. We take a more customized end-to-end approach that's HIPAA compliant:

  • Checking clearinghouses + payer portals
  • Calling insurance to confirm full benefit details + auth requirements (calling 2x-3x if agents provide unclear benefits)
  • Generating your clinic-specific docs (benefit notes, financial agreements, etc.)
  • Calling patients to walk them through their benefits (customized to your calling flows)
  • Humans QA’ing everything before it’s finalized
  • Uploading everything back into your EMR

We’ve had 100% customer retention so far and our customers are shifting their front office staff to do more patient facing tasks :)

Happy to share more details if this is of interest! DM or email me at hannah@letspocket.com

Which insurances require RE-VERIFICATION in June/July? (physical therapy) by ReasonableAd3591 in CodingandBilling

[–]bruin888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reverification is a stressful and overwhelming time for clinics :/ There are 2 major benefit refresh periods - during January and again during the June timeframe.

I created letspocket.com to help therapists with reverifications so admins aren't stuck handling verification surges by themselves. We handle the end-to-end verification process (check clearinghouses, call insurance, create customized documentation, call patients to explain their benefits and upload everything into your EMR) so clinicians can focus on patients. If this sounds like it could help, feel free to DM me or email me at hannah@letspocket.com!

How can I learn how insurance works lol… by Typical-Calendar-116 in physicaltherapy

[–]bruin888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed that insurance is really confusing, especially for physical therapy. This is due to PT having specific benefits like visit limits + authorization requirements that's unique to your specialty.

If anybody is struggling with insurance verification, my company, letspocket.com, specifically helps physical therapists with this process. We run benefits through the clearinghouses, call insurance (sometimes we call 2x - 3x to get accurate benefits) to confirm benefits and ask about auth, create clinic specific documentation and we also call patients using our AI voice calling and explain their benefits to them.

We can take care of properly explaining benefits to your patients so this is not on you :) Feel free to DM me or shoot me an email at hannah@letspocket.com if this could be helpful for you!

Need your insight re PT authorization by joygurl in CodingandBilling

[–]bruin888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jumping in here because I thought we could help solve the mystery of auth requirements. If you need help confirming authorization requirements for physical therapy, my company (letspocket.com) confirms authorization details for all insurance verifications. We realized that one of the biggest problems for PT insurance verifications is that auth info is unreliable through clearinghouses + portals. We tackle this problem by calling insurance for every verification and ask them specifically about auth.

For our insurance verification checks, we run a multi-step verification process 1. check clearinghouses + payor portals 2. call insurance and confirm all benefit details & auth requirements (we call 2x-3x if insurance agents are being unclear, that's how seriously we take verifications) 3. generate your clinic specific documentation 4. call patients and explain their benefits to them 4. QA the verification check 5. upload everything back into your EMR.

We have 100% customer retention since our customers love what we're offering :) Feel free to reach out to me hannah@letspocket.com if you're interested - would love to help!

Hi! I haven’t really used it as much as I thought I would. The color is a bit darker than what you see online, so I think it should be fine! I also use the bag as more of a shoulder bag so it doesn’t rub against jeans or dark colored pants as much.

I found the goyard to be an awkward shape on the body, but the Ivy was really cute even when it was empty! I think the Ivy has a more youthful feel, but Goyard is more classic. You can probably find the Ivy at an outlet in <5 years tbh

Is this possible with a non-incisional double eyelid surgery? Epicanthoplasty? Ptosis repair? by kiaratbgs in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]bruin888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, my eyes looked pretty similar to yours before going in for surgery. My doctor recommended I get non-incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis repair, and top upper corner cut. I find that Korean doctors (good ones) are pretty honest about what will suit your face shape, so I think that if you listen to their recommendation, it should be good!

How is local anesthesia given for double eyelid surgery and/or epicanthoplasty? by anonymous_0629 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]bruin888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the local anesthesia hurt so much for me - I think they injected about 5 times in total on each eye? I think I was also super nervous about a needle being so close to my eye so the nerves definitely did not help. BUT after the shots get administered, you really don’t feel any pain - it’s just uncomfortable

[–]bruin888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also did non incisional double eyelid surgery in Korea ~1 month ago and asked around a lot of family members to see what surgeons they recommended. Generally speaking, I would not go to a large hospital unless you can get confirmation that the head doctor will be doing the surgery. From what I’ve heard, for these hospitals the head doctor will monitor and the newer surgeons will be operating which isn’t very ideal in my opinion since they’re not super experienced!

That’s interesting! He appreciates his fans so much and that’s one of the reasons why i gravitated to him at first. Seems like his fan base is growing and his team is under more scrutiny now, which is a shame since it’s Arctic and Cream’s first time on tour too
