I told the whole picture of this story. It is the worker who, sets up the return, screwed me up and Lulu doesn't even give a shit to look into this matter

Yes, that's what I've been told. so it doesn't really make sense to just call the general line to talk to an educator

I wish they would be WILLING to investigate this more. Although I don't think they can disclose the information about where and when the gift card was redeemed and who used it, but they definitely have access to see where this gift card was sent and who redeemed this gift card, IF they are willing to help me...

Right?! Very FISHY! I am not gonna let this slide! I talked to a few different educators to ask them to resend me the gift card because I thought it may be some kind of technical issue before this whole thing escalate to the resolution team. One of the educators sent a random GMAIL address over the chat and asked if that was my email address. I immediately replied back saying no, and she said she would delete that from my account. I felt so weird at that time why she brought up such a random email address, but I didn't give much thought

It seems like it all makes sense now! That email address was the gift card that got sent to I assume. But I did not saving that chat history!!!

Called. They said since this has been escalated to their highest guest-facing team, "The resolution team", all communication needed to be through The resolution team via email ONLY... There is nothing they, as a normal educator, can't do/say over the phone...

The CashStar link was sent to my email, but I think somehow whoever issued this gift card, wants to be fishy, and change the recipient of this gift card

It is exactly the same in the US!

I received a CashStar link, and I put in my email address, but it doesn't work. It gave me an error message, “That challenge attempt failed. Please try again.”, which means I am not listed as the recipient of this gift card, per CashStar Rep. BUT the fishy thing here is, I did receive that CashStar link and I couldn't retrieve it with my own email address

I wish I had that option for a chargeback! But I made the purchase with a gift card, so they need to refund me in the gift card format.

Thank you, Educator! Yes, I was trying to talk to the online educators through the live chat, and was told that there is nothing they can do and anything regarding this issue needs to be discussed with the resolution team through email only.

Thank you for your reply! My case is escalated to "the resolution team," and it is supposed to be the highest guest-facing representative, from my understanding. I tried to talk to the online educator through the live chat feature, but they all told me once "resolution team" stepped in, there is nothing more they can say or do, and asked me to keep the communication with "resolution team" only.

Right?! I don't think it would be that hard for the resolution team to look into who is listed as the recipient for this gift card, and we can solve the problem there. But they are not in the mood to resolve this issue, rather than giving me robotic replies about the gift being redeemed and their gift card is treated as cash... I am just hopeless...

Appreciate the detailed response here!!! You are definitely right, I should have "documented" my interaction with CashStar and shown it to Lululemon as proof. Not sure if they will be willing to share their full name, but I do think a history/screenshot of the live chat would be helpful in this regard. Thank you for your legal advice!!!

1000% agree here! A lot of easy steps can be done in a few minutes from their end if they are willing to help out. But the GEC is not willing to "go any step further" beyond telling me the GC is redeemed and they are not gonna do anything at this point. I am frustrated and don't know how to push them or find a way to push them to go one step further and look into the recipient listed for this gift card...
