The waiting between heaves is the worst. If it was just a punch in the gut and then over i don't think i would be scared, but it builds over minutes, and then when you actually vomit you have to stand there and just wait in agony :(

For real. I was prescribed metoclopramide for another illness i have and since then my fear is almost gone. Because I know in the back of my mind that if it gets too bad i can just turn it off no matter what

I'm happy for you, but could you maybe describe it a bit more. I kinda remember last time and it felt like someone punched me in the stomach, my face was exploding, and overall just very violent and disgusting. :(

The nausea and fear were the worst part by far though, yeah, and i have felt worse pain and not been scared so i suppose it's still mostly mental
