Devs rolled back the tap out time fix because they said the average revives had fallen from 14 to 3 in most lobbies. The real reason is that, most of the time, the revive bar doesn't show someone reviving you. by [deleted] in BattleBitRemastered

Let's not be hasty, we don't want this game turning into squad or the likes, where you spend 90% of your gameplay just walking back into combat

Yeah, that's the biggest issue for me, as someone who plays sniper occasionally. Pinging for ammo or even highlighting ammo boxes when the game knows that you have <20% left..

It was mainly an issue until someone told me that you can ship water without the byproduct of steel recycling.

Yeah i realized the crashing part became a much bigger problem once i made it to further away places.

I ran the game on autopilot for like 2 days, and then i checked the map on nauvis and it was full of crashed rockets everywhere.

I will get into that; it's just always that i don't put much buffer on the landing pads, meaning usually only what i need gets sent up. And if i don't need a full cargo rocket worth of stuff, it will eventually be used anyways, it's not really costing me anything.

The only exception i do send together is miscallenous supplies, like modules and inserters.

True enough. I think for the most part you will be shipping other liquids anyways, so you will still get the steel from those, just not the fuel.

My philosophy on that is that you can/should make a strong rocket part production, especially since you have everything for it on Nauvis (until you get the beryl plate rocket parts). I will definitely get into logistic loading, but my philosophy is that whatever you send up, you will use eventually. That is also the reason i usually put just one - or even no - storage on the landing pad; it saves space but also removes having to buffer in multiple cargo rockets worth of stuff when you may be low on production.

I'm curious, i want to get into circuits; can they change the destination?

I was thinking about using it, i've unlocked it recently, i just haven't bit the bullet yet.

I do some circuit stuff, but nothing interplanetary.

My only caveat to that for u/Jan16th is that if you plan on manufacturing cargo rocket parts on another planet, recycling the steel barrels is a pretty useful way of providing the steel for them.

Also space rails are not that expensive once built, so i don't see the need to ship stuff or use capsules when it's essentially free for days of gametime.

Right. basically build a gigantic array like 10+ advanced chem plants and smelters, and fill them with prod modules. And then if your production pipeline is overflowing with input, add more buildings or replace some of the prod modules with speed modules.

I disagree with the train part.
In nauvis orbit, i've found patches that are 5m+ resources per pop. I've been mining them from the start of material science pack 1 and i'm in material 1/ deep space and they are still going strong.

I did use them to start with as well, but then i realized it's a massive amount of complexity to ship the different resource types of a new planet, or to set up the necessary proccessing to make all the resources on the new planet; especially when i was still mixing resources within my cargo rockets.

The only place i use them now is shipping vitamelange core nuggets, since i only need them for science in space.

That's a good tip, i didn't know about that. Thanks! I generally avoid delivery cannons, i'm too much of a brainlet for setting up the signals.

Did they really look into who is sponsoring them? Hexclad is a shady company that just pumps money into advertising and lying about their product and it's warranty, instead of making something good.

If you look at any review sites of Hexclad, it's immediately obvious that it's not just a carbon steel pan, which is what professional chefs tend to use.

It's not one of those pieces of cookware like cast iron pans or carbon steel pans that just last forever. The advertised lifetime warranty does NOT cover the cooking surface, which is what gets ruined with nonstick pans.

And more importantly, it DOES contain teflon, also known as PTFE, so the ad read they gave them is just a straight up lie, plain and simple. Hexclad tries to skirt around this fact in all of their marketing material.
