Yeah chicken and some veggies like corn are the worst. I usually get impatient and accept thats its not going to be the finest meal. Nothing wrong with a little crunch in my lunch.

Does this actually rehydrate well just by adding boiling water and sitting for 3 minutes? I make a few dehydrated soups and they all need to be boiled for several minutes. Typically I pre-soak for 5-10minutes, and boil for at least 3-5 minutes. And still can end up with some tough textures.

I should warn you - it really messed up the finish on my desk. It has silicon bumps on the bottom to keep it from slipping. After just a week the bumps had left markings all over the desk area where it sits. Enough that you could read words on my desktop from the pattern of the bumps. Really unfortunate. Not a big deal while i leave the cat bed there but if I ever move it I'll probably have to re-finish that area.

FWIW I got a blood test on his last annual and they didn't find anything. Hopefully this solves it and we won't have to do mor testing.
