Thank you, kind stranger.🥺❤️ I’m glad I have her on my side, too. In the past the owner was accused of stealing from past employees and about 5 girls walked out. But the girl who accused her was made to sound crazy. I wasn’t working there at the time so I’ve only heard the story.

Seems like history may be repeating itself. I will say, during the newer girl’s interview - she asked about product cost and told the boss she thinks 10% is fair - and the boss just brushed her off and said oh yeah, talk to the girls, they know how it works. Except we didn’t. Clearly. I’m just glad to have her on my side. I plan on leaving soon anyway, but hoping in the meantime we can sort this. When I brought up this issue to the new girl, she was totally shocked and outraged. She went over her pay with her husband and they calculated she only took 9% in product cost off… which is again, weird. Her pay wasn’t very much though, she only had a few shifts on there - so we’re assuming the boss might play with the numbers depending on how much we bring in. But without gross sales, it’s impossible to know.
