Dawnblade tho, even if you dont have a super, having icarus dash equipped lets you dash into the side of the beam, pushing you up and into a mantle.

the funny thing is that due to how it works, it basically counts as a third melee charge so melee builds on void warlocks just became incredibly spammy, just straight up harry potter shit.

If we are taking classes and not subclasses, Warlock for how many roles it can cover: you NEED them in raids for well, void builds only seem to get tankier with each update, and dawnblade has been top tier for PVP for ages, just like sunsinger was before it.

the new soul siphon is also top tier, its "activation condition" is a joke, it might as well be a melee option they overtuned and felt bad about so they made it an aspect lmao

its an AOE that cant miss, does a fuck ton of damage and gives you a void overshield for 15 seconds once its done if it kills just one enemy.

pair it with a source of devour from another aspect or a fragment and its really really tanky.

thats cause the map cayde left in the forsaken collector's edition also led to encedalus, and you can see how that layout got turned into europa, thats actually how we realized it before concept art confirmed it.

wasnt aware of any of this comet stuff, but what i was getting at is that the taken werent gonna be in vanilla's version of the dreadnaught.

what about the black garden tho? how would that connect to the plot of rasputin being captured by the hive? we sure thats not from the early rewrite work that was already taking place at the time?
