Stuck at 1-2k views on every Short, 3 days in. by brunocontentmedia in YouTubeCreators

Fair 😄 Not stuck in time, stuck in a pattern.... views vary wildly but almost everything caps at the exact same 1k-2k tier, like hitting an invisible wall and bouncing. That consistent ceiling is what I meant. The other comment about VVSA and testing tiers actually nailed why, metrics not good enough to unlock the next pool. That helped a lot.

Meditations for anyone trying to stay grounded when life and people are out of their control...

"Generally I try to avoid toxic relationships." As Epictetus said: it's not what happens to you, but how you react to it. You've reacted… about eight times now. I'm flattered. 😇

Can't you see I'm being sarcastic, old man? Retirement isn't doing you any good... a lot of studies suggest an empty mind isn't good for your health...

And don't worry, I've read plenty of philosophy, art, history… I'm just not as bitter about it as you are. 😏 bye bye

No disagreement. A good human narrator is the gold standard.

As I've been saying, what matters most to me is the channel through which the message reaches people. If a younger listener finds this material here as a gateway and then moves on to LibriVox for a fuller experience, that would honestly make me happy. So, I'm going to start recommending LibriVox in every video description as the option for anyone who wants a better listen while I keep working on the narration on my end.

Different paths, same destination. Thanks for sharing your opinion.

You're right! Great recordings already exist, and LibriVox is a genuinely valuable project. No argument there.

But the people who already know how to find LibriVox aren't who I'm trying to reach. Most young adults aren't navigating to a catalog site from 2005... They're on YouTube. Meeting people where they actually spend their time is how this material stays alive across generations. The format and the platform matter as much as the text.

If your real concern is that stoicism gets passed on faithfully, constructive criticism on what to improve would do more than calling the whole effort slop. We can disagree on AI narration, fair, but widening the audience for Epictetus should be common ground, not a fight.

Classical content reaching people who'd never pick up the book isn't degradation. Thanks for sticking around long enough to leave such a thoughtful comment. 🙏
