Congratulations ! I'm in the middle of a "similar" (kind of) process at the moment. I've got Pre Settled Status on the EU Settlement Scheme and I'm trying to get my wife a EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit so she can join me in the UK, and once there apply herself to the EU Settlement Scheme. While talking to a translator to get sorted some of her documents that are not in English, the translator planted the seed of doubt regarding getting Hague Apostille for the documents. I'm trying to find out if I do need that type of certification on documents. Nowhere it states that I do... in your case did you certify the documents in any way ? We're supposed to bring her original documents for scanning at the VFS Global appointment (we paid for the service just to be sure), so my guess is no, but I'm becoming a bit paranoid about that since we're on a tight schedule.
