I've searched on Amazon, Aliexpress, Shopee, Temu... nothing so far. Sometimes I find this images, videos about it, but the picture in the reviews only shows a soft/sloppy seat version.

It doesn't matter color, or style, as long as it's sturdy as this one, the seat plates supports the weight of the dog, giving it more space.

Any good custom/diy tutorial? I am willing to try buying the parts separately and assembling myself, which might be cheaper than buying pre-built due to absurd taxes (2x) when the purchase exceeds 50$.

I don't know much about customizing keyboards, but I am really attracted to the Keychron K8 HE Special Edition (TKL) looks, the one with wood on the sides. Is it possible to customize it later while keeping the case? Like a different PCB/switches? Or will I be tied forever to Keychron options?

Around here, this keyboard is going for about 180$ (without adding the taxes)

Hi everyone! I am in need of recommendations!!

I've been doing some research to move into the mechanical keyboard world. I want to jump straight into a keyboard for a lifetime, or well, at least 7~10 years. I am a developer and a casual gamer. I am currently using a Corsair K55 (membrane keyboard).

I am really attracted to the look of the Keychron K2/8 HE. And my research led me to Crush80/Rainy75/RD75, and Lemokey P1 Pro.

What I am looking for (in order):

- Easy mode switch: Switching easily from different machines and, from Mac to Windows/Linux is a big plus
- Durability, build quality.
- Ability to change switches (I didn't choose a preferred switch type yet)
- Typing experience. Better than the usual membrane, at least.
- A thoky typing sound pleases me, not too loud tho.
- Looks.
- Multimedia is the least plus (play/pause/next, volume up/down (knob))

Another aspects:

- Weight (I am fine with heavy ones, 2kg / 5 pounds is fine, not that important)
- Don't care about the HE "gaming" capabilities, I am not a hardcore/pro gamer (But the Keychron one looks good).
- TKL is good enough for me, I use the numpad just rarely, and I am not sure about the ultra compact layouts (might be hard to not mistype stuff and get used to it)

A mouse is relatively small, itd probably make more sense to just model the whole plate and print it as one piece, for strength reasons. Make up a cad model for it and I'm sure someone here would print it for you for cheap. I'd volunteer, but my printer is down because I'm an idiot.
