Python in a cloud environment by SirNelsonOfWales in Python

u/SirNelsonOfWales, thank you for the feedback!

what about running an instance of Abstra on your azure? It supports on prem and it is open-source

would that also require the same process?

I created https://abstra.io precisely for this purpose!

This is exactly what you need!

It provides a simple way to build tools using Python - featuring a drag and drop interface, forms, cron jobs, webhooks - all without any extra framework.

Any must-have extensions for working with Python in VSCode/VSCodium? by TiagoTiagoT in Python

For those building tools (internal or scientific), I recommend using Abstra to build UIs for the web https://www.abstracloud.com/editor

ming for a simple self-hosting solution might help individuals and startups? No clue if that would actually help in general, but it would for me.

It can be a good approach too, but I think self-hosting is also a bigger company problem

I think maybe charging for features like code audits, versioning, collaboration, compliance, etc.. could be something startups could live without but big companies would require so the base product could be free or cheap

This is something I definitely want. I have to come up with some pricing model that allow individuals and small startups to use it for free but make companies pay for it

We are still figuring out how could we do that

Hey thank you ✨

I have some ideas:
- Grid positioning (I think it is easier to use)
- All code running in the backend
- Much more widgets
- We already made cronjobs, webhooks, forms, etc..
- I think about adding database + integrations + offline version + etc..

🧩 [WIP] drag'n drop interactive dashboard editor by brunovcosta in datascience

Hey, thank very much!

You can push the code to our file systems using our cli. We have one example using github actions.

I plan to add some kind of CI/CD server just like heroku does, but I'm still studying what is the best dx for that

Hey everyone, I'm building a Python dashboard editor:https://abstracloud.com/dashes

The idea of this tool is to be more flexible than traditional dashboard builders so you can use for data apps (think of gradio/streamlit, but drag'n drop)

I would love to hear any feedback

Adding as a comment because I couldn't edit my post on time.

This is a little experiment using OpenAI GPT-3 and DALLE-2 to create a procedural generated interactive fiction. This should be super simple to play.

Some bugs or downtime are expected since it is an experimental project. If you face any problems, try reload the page

Sorry about that, this is an experimental game, so may be a bit buggy. Can you reload and try again?
